California Horse Racing Board hears exchange-betting concerns
ARCADIA, Calif. - Exchange wagering could be launched in California as early as the Del Mar meeting in July, but not all participants in the sport, notably some racetracks and horsemen's organization, want to see it implemented, a California Horse Racing Board committee was told on Thursday.

Shudacudawudya evened his four-race rivalry with Sourdough Sam in Saturday’s Albany Stakes at Golden Gate Fields. The two split decisions at age 2 and Sourdough Sam beat Shudacudawudya in the Oakland Stakes last fall to take a 2-1 lead in their series.
